The Coconut is a resource item found in Stranded Deep. It can be found growing on any palm tree.
Description[]
Coconuts are a valuable crafting item, a food and a water source. They can be found hanging on any palm tree, the player must pick them up or knock them off to retrieve them. Currently, only these items can be crafted out of coconuts:
- Coconut flask (x1)
A coconut can be dehusked if hit with a tool or smashed against the ground. It will then become a Drinkable Coconut.Dehusked coconuts provide 1 unit of water and can be broken further into 2 coconut halves.
Each palm tree has 1-2 coconuts that will not regrow after getting picked.
Coconuts can be picked up and stored up to 4 per slot.
Trivia[]
- Coconuts used to be called Green Coconuts, but this is no longer the case.
Notes[]
- The Life Raft, when on land, can be used to hold mass amounts of Coconuts.
- Eating more than 2 coconuts quickly will cause diarrhoea.
- Coconuts can be hit out of a tree with a ranged shot of any kind.
- Spears can be used for dehusking coconuts.
- The player cannot plant coconuts in farm plots to grow palm trees.
